I’m a lifelong book lover with a very flexible reading mood and a library that is constantly outgrowing its shelves. I’ll read almost anything if the story sounds good, although romance, mysteries, and the occasional fantasy usually win.

Pages Before Plans is basically what happens when “just one more chapter” regularly wins over everything else I was supposed to be doing.

My Reading Life

I read romance in pretty much all its forms, from sweet slow burns to unapologetic smut. I love a mystery that keeps me guessing, and every now and then I want a fantasy world I can disappear into for a while.

I’m also an audiobook reader, a mood reader, and absolutely capable of changing what I planned to read next because I saw another book and got distracted.

Why “Pages Before Plans”?

As a Virgo, I love a good plan. I also love ignoring it for “just one more chapter.”

That pretty much explains the name.

On Pages Before Plans, you’ll find spoiler-aware book reviews, reading guides, and recommendations. My reviews are less about telling you whether a book is objectively “good” and more about helping you figure out whether you might want to read it.

I’ll tell you what worked for me, what didn’t, how spicy it is, what tropes you’ll find, and what kind of read you’re getting into.
